California Wolf Center’s New Website: Feature Overview
Welcome to California Wolf Center’s new website! Now you’ll be able to support wolves and our mission even easier than before. Here are a couple new features we’re excited to share with you.
Meet Our Wolves
While our previous site had biographies of a select few wolves, now you can get to know more about all of our ambassadors. Learn about each member of the North American gray wolf and Mexican gray wolf packs you can expect to see during your visit to our conservation facility.
Sponsor A Wolf
Contribute to the enrichment of our resident wolves through sponsorship! By symbolically adopting one of our conservation facility residents, you will be directly enhancing their daily lives through special treats, enrichment activities, and habitat maintenance.
Simply add the wolf or wolves you’d like to sponsor to your shopping cart and check out.
Please note that is only a symbolic adoption, we will not be sending you a wolf in the mail. Practicality aside, neither the wolf nor the postal workers would enjoy it very much.
Name a Wolf
In addition to sponsorship, you can also purchase naming rights for one of our unnamed wolves. These wolves are currently only referred to by their studbook number for breeding program purposes and don’t have a house name yet.
Like sponsorship, you can select the wolf you’d like to name, enter the name you’d like to give them, and check out. You have exclusive naming rights per each wolf, and once they are named, you will receive credit on their bio page.
Recurring Donation
California Wolf Center depends on donations to fulfill our mission of saving wolves, which is why we’ve made it easier to not only donate, but also set up a recurring donation. If you’d like to support our cause on a continuous basis, simply select the frequency and amount you’d like to contribute.
Every bit helps, and with 90% of all donated funds going directly to wolf care and conservation, your tax-deductible monetary gift can make a real difference for the future of wolves in the US.
Tribute
Leave your legacy at our conservation facility with four tribute options and locations: path pavers, viewing area pavers, front entrance pavers, and benches. Add your preferred option to your cart, where you will be prompted to enter your preferred custom engraving details at time of purchase.
Volunteer and Internship Applications
Interested in getting involved? Now you can apply to be a volunteer or intern directly on our site! Expand the form, fill it out, and hit submit to have your application will be reviewed for consideration by our team.

New to the site is our blog, where we will be sharing news, fun wolf facts, conservation updates, and more. By signing up for our newsletter, you will be subscribed to the blog and receive notifications when it updates.
