CWC at Gravlax Restaurant
Join the California Wolf Center at Gravlax Restaurant, 12400 W. Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90066 on June 10, 2014 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Enjoy an evening of spectacular art, good wine, and delicious cuisine while you learn about the future of wolves in California! Admission is $15/ person (no RSVP necessary). This fun event will highlight the unique works of Lindsay Carron, including original pieces created especially for this event. In a dramatic series of pen and ink depictions, artist Lindsay Carron captures the essence of this apex predator as a highly sophisticated social animal and vital force within its ecosystem. Funds raised from admission and art sales go directly to help California Wolf Recovery efforts. Wolf Awareness Week 2014
Wolf Awareness Week 2014 will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Michael Sutton, President of the California Fish & Game Commission and Vice President, Pacific Flyway, National Audubon Society, will share his insights into the history and future of wildlife conservation in the state of California. As California prepares for the return of gray wolves after decades of absence, what role can our state play in preserving wolves and other species for generations to come? This fundraising event will benefit the California Wolf Center's resident wolves as well as our efforts to help wolves recover in the wild, including in our home state of California.
