The California Wolf Center 's Internship Program offers college students a unique educational experience by providing the opportunity to work with a non-profit organization (learn about our mission ). Interns can participate in all aspects of our operation including animal care, research, education, development, administration and facilities maintenance. If the internship will be completed for course credit, it is the responsibility of the student to make the necessary arrangements with his/her college or university. Specific experiences can be structured to meet the academic goals and interests of the intern. It may be possible for interns to propose, design, conduct and present the results of research projects at the Center.
Internships normally require a minimum time commitment of 20 hours per week for 16 weeks, but other arrangements may be possible depending on semester and class schedules. Interns must be available for at least 4 hours on Saturdays. A plan for completing the remaining hours will be arranged with our General Manager. |
